Dear all FAN members,

We take great pleasure in inviting you to the Winter conference hosted in Vienna by the IG Vienna. Please forward this invitation along to others within your Club/IG.

Conference agenda

Please find attached the agenda proposal.The opening of the FAN conference and the welcome reception will take place on Friday evening. Saturday starts with a news update (FAN Report). You are invited to present in brief what’s new about your club (past events, planned events, scholarship strategies). Please send us 1 – 2 powerpoint slides until January 10th.

Please let us know about your wishes and ideas for the workshops at the Winter Conference until december 15th, 2016. On Sunday, we would like to continue the programme with an “Open Forum” with sufficient time to discuss all kinds of matters that are on your minds.
(This discussion would also be about competences, and what we have and what we need to solve different problems.)

We are looking forward to all your input for the “Open Forum” until december 15th, 2016, soon thereafter you will receive more detailed information about the workshops.


We are offering a discount for “early birds” that register until
December 4th 2016.
“Early bird” ticket:  15€. (Deadline December 4th)
Regular ticket: 30€.  (Deadline December 18th)

The deadline for the registration is December 18th, 2016. Additional registrations might be possible after the registration deadline, if there is still capacity.

How many members of each Club are able to register?
Clubs: The maximum number of participants are four persons per club
Ambassadors: Two persons per country.

Please let us know if you want us to book a room for you during your stay in Vienna. We reserved a number of rooms in a youth-friendly hotel with three or four beds each at one of the Meininger hotels (

Price for accommodation
The accommodation of two club representatives and one ambassador per country for two nights at the Meininger Hotel are free of charge. Breakfast is included. Any extra Club members or other extra costs will not be covered.

Please be aware that a maximum of 4 participants per club/IG and 2 ambassadors per country can attend the conference.

Let us know if you need any accommodation. For two club representatives each and one ambassador per country, accommodation in one of  the Meininger hotels for two nights will be free of charge. The breakfast is included.

Your registration is binding and in case of non-attendance to the conference, there will be no refund.
